Today has been entertaining. Alex and I debated on his socks again. Once again he kept telling me that they are squishy.. I have no idea if thats a good or a bad thing.. but he is aware that they are thicker than his normal socks.. and he must share it. He pulled and tugged and waved his foot at me to get me to fix something.. no idea what.. I guess he wanted it folded? Folding it fixed the issue or atleast distracted him long enough to get his shoes on. Then there was the shirt. He did not want the over shirt on. He'd look at me and then sloooowly let it fall off his body to the floor. When Id ask him to not hed rip it off quickly. Sadly for him I buttoned it. The shirt stayed on.
Alex was lucky enough to see an ambulance zoom from behind us. Woooo! He cheered the "ambu-lips" on.
Once we arrived at the Childrens day Lacey event He wiggled in his seat and pointed to the bounce house. We went over. Pulled him out. Joe walked him to the enterance.. Alex ran away.. fast. Into the street about 15ft away. I think he wanted to go in the opened back of it rather than the squeeze in front. I cant blame him. Joe took him back to the front and pulled his socks and shoes off.. He climbed in with Alex. Alex's hands were twisted and balled up. He was horrified and crying. Joe brought him out. We did the sock and shoe thing again. No more bounce houses.
A tent was set up and called him over to throw a bean bag through the hole in a wood sheet. Alex looked scared.. hands doing their thing.. and not responding.. no words.. just a whimper. We walked him to the board to drop the bag through. EVERYONE cheered. He hugged into Joe but peeked out smiling.. and crying at the same time lol. He got a sucker and was happy.
Then he saw puppies. More candy.. more suckers.. then books. He didnt want to go near the group of people looking in the books. I held his hand.. and pulled him near. We discussed which books... bugs? no. Dinos? no. Toy story? YES.

Then he pointed to the police and fire trucks. He was desperate to look.. but worried about getting too close. Joe ended up taking him into the seats. He was thrilled. His hands were twisting through it all. He didnt talk.. more pointing.. rigid movements.. whines.. He was happy though. The police car was the same. When people would try to give him something he made ugly faces and wouldnt look at them. He would take the stickers or books.. he would try to run away at times too. He also enjoyed the big dump truck too.
In the tumble bus he would stand and whine help me over and over.. but he didnt need help with anything. Then eventually he pulled up on a pull up bar and exclaimed that he was too heavy lol.
I attempted the bead table with him but he continues to ask me for the candy they gave him. Sucker number 4. I made his neacklace.. he ate a sucker.
Then on to face painting. He watched Zoey get her face done then allowed the lady to do his hand. He got a red car. Soon as he sat back in his seat he smeared it all off. Oh well. We were shocked he let the lady touch him. I see it as a win.
On to the car.. he asked over and over for milk.. downed it and for once told me all done and didnt throw it at my head. he handed it to me. YAY!
At the library he wouldnt hold Joes hand. He wanted to run. He couldnt focus and ended up in time out. He was having a very hard time listening. Near the end he started pulling out of my full hands and running to shelves knocking books down. We left. He sobbed to not get in the car.
He chowed on some nuggets and apples then had a fit at potty time. He wouldnt get off the dog so lost his truck (he hit him with it after laying on him). He was taken to bed.. without his truck. Sad guy.
